Nestled at the base of the Lootsberg Pass you will find the enchanting Tweefontein Guest House. This historic house was renovated in late 2016 to pristine condition, whilst still keeping many of its original features including the amazing wood ceiling and parts of the floor.
Pienaarsbaken Farm Cottages are situated at the foot of the Lootsberg Pass between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg in the Eastern Cape. The Loots history goes back to the late 1700’s and accommodation is provided in the 200 year old original farm house.
Houdconstant is situated between Graaff-Reinet and Murraysburg on the R63. The homestead was built before 1786, when Graaff-Reinet got its town status, and has been farmed by the McNaughton family for the last 15 years.

The farm Waterval is about 32 kilometres outside Graaff-Reinet on the Erasmuskloof road; a winding gravel road slowly snaking along the Broederstroom river. It offers spectacular mountain views, but be warned: the terrain can be strenuous so drive slowly and rather enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
Roode Bloem Farm House offers quiet country accommodation on a working farm. Only 10km from Graaff Reinet. A member of the Amandelhoogte Conservancy and a member of the Mountain Zebra Camdeboo Protected Environment. An ideal base to explore Graaff Reinet and surrounds.

Ganora Guest Farm is a sheep farm situated just outside Nieu Bethesda in the foothills of the majestic Sneeuberg Range sixty kilometres north of Graaff-Reinet. The farmstead and guest cottages nestle deep in the slopes of a depression carved into the bedrock by ancient rivers in pre-historic times. The surrounding rock formations and rich fossil beds on the farm bear testimony to the events that contributed to the formation of this vast and beautiful land.

As you pass through the blue peaks of the Sneeuberg, along the N9 between Graaff-Reinet and Middelberg, not far from the turnoff to Nieu-Bethesda, you come upon an unassuming gate at the head of a farm road. Like so many exceptional places in this part off the Karoo, it requires only an adventurous spirit to drive a short three kilometres through the bush into a small, beautiful valley.
Guests are accommodated in the private, charming cottage “Trymore” built in the 1950's by Grandfather Sidney Rubidge, a successful sheep farmer and renowned amateur palaeontologist, who's collection of fossils is reputed to be the largest in private hands. This self-contained 4 bedroom cottage, with 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and comfortable lounge with open fireplace, is well suited for a couple, family or group.
